Limited colour palette?

Quite a few ideas bounced around my head planning for this painting. The song remained the same, though. I love a lot of John Denver's music and this is one of my favorites!

I hope limited my palette with this painting to about 5 colours. I didn't really plan to use purple, but near the end, you can see me adding it to her hair, which really adds the contrast it needs.
