Shipping Policy
Thank you for supporting Melissa Van Dam Studio. Each piece is carefully prepared and packaged to ensure it arrives safely at its new home.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. Custom, commissioned, or made-to-order items may require additional production time, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, destination, and shipping method selected.
Free, or flat rate shipping may be offered on qualifying orders as indicated on the website.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, customs processing, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Tracking Information
When available, tracking information will be provided via email once your order has shipped. NO tracking information is available for the UNTRACKED Lettermail option.
Packaging
Original artwork and fragile items are carefully packaged using protective materials to help ensure safe delivery. We take great care in preparing each shipment; however, occasional damage may occur during transit.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the packaging and damaged item.
If a package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue.
International Orders
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges imposed by their country. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate when placing your order. Melissa Van Dam Studio is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses. Additional shipping charges may apply if a package is returned and needs to be reshipped.
Local Pickup
Local pickup may be available for customers in the Orillia, Ontario area. If available, this option can be selected during checkout. Pickup instructions will be provided once your order is ready.
