Day 85 of 100 Days of Painting

I've been preparing my whole life for this.

Friday night, for the very first time, I saw the Northern Lights in person! The beauty and magic of the aurora has captivated my imagination since I was a small child. I've painted it several times, never having experienced it myself.

Like many things in life, the wait made it all that much sweeter.

The prompt for today was "aurora."
